As we all plan our activities we’ve put together a list of just some of the events taking place over the Jubilee weekend in Berkshire for the Queens Platinum Jubilee. Just follow the links for more detail.

 

Sunninghill & Ascot are holding a Jubilee Party in the Park on 2nd June from 4.30pm, with the Beacon lighting taking place at 9.45pm. They will be fairground rides for children, food stalls and music to keep you entertained.

 

Bracknell is holding the Lexicon Proms in Bond Square on 1st June with a rousing mix of live music, dance and entertainment.  On the 4th June at Bracknell rugby club will be the Bracknell & Cider Festival Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Celebration

 

Hungerford Beacon lighting will be at the Triangle Field on 2nd June. On Sunday 5th June there will be a Jubilee picnic fun day at The Croft Green.

 

Maidenhead Beacon Lighting ceremony & afternoon Jubilee Event in Bray Village on 2nd June with a family BBQ at the Bray Cricket Club at 4pm. A Family Funday will take place at Oaken Grove Park 3rd June.  And on 4th June there is an outdoor free event of live music, dancing, market, food and drink at Norden Farm from 12pm.

 

Newbury Town Council will be hosting a Community Beacon Lighting on 2nd June. Music and entertainment starts at 7pm and families are encouraged to bring picnic teas and your own seating.

 

Reading Beacon Lighting Ceremony 2nd June at Abbey Ruins. It is a ticketed event. Top UK tribute bands are coming together on 3rd June for The Jubilee Tribute concert at Abbey Ruins. Part of Reading Children’s festival on 5th June is the Jubilee Children’s Concert at Forbury Gardens.

 

Slough The Big Slough Picnic on 5th June 2022 from 12pm. At St Mary’s Church.

 

Thatcham Beacon Lighting ceremony and festivities at Dunstan Green Park on 2nd June. On 5th June Churches Together are organising The Big Jubilee Lunch at Kennet School playing fields from 10.00am where you can enjoy live music, games, activities, stall and a BBQ.

 

Windsor Beacon Lighting and Fireworks. The Beacon lighting will take place at Cambridge Gate at the town end of the Long Walk followed by a firework display over the castle on Thursday 2nd June.  It’s free of charge and not a ticketed event. On the 4th June is the Jubilee Party on the Long Walk and the Big Lunch on Sunday 5th June.

 

Wokingham’s Platinum Jubilee Party in the Park on 4th June at Elms Field. A free event packed with live music, food, drink and family fun. 2.30pm – 9pm.

 

On 5th June Cookham is holding the High Street Jubilee Party. With the high street being closed off, bring your picnic and enjoy live music, entertainment and Bandstand ‘Sing a Long’.
